We start our tour with discovering of the Wild Nairobi by visiting the National Park, Daphne Sheldrick, giraffe centre and experience one of its treasurers, the famous Carnivore restaurant.

It is designed for persons’ who do not like rushed itineraries, and will prefer watching animals from their balcony instead of sitting more hours in the vehicle. Day 1 Nairobi

Your safari begins at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you are met and transferred the short distance to Ololo Safari Lodge. Ololo has the perfect location to begin your adventure: lying on the edge of the Nairobi National Park, it not only has views of the wildlife in the park but you also have time for an afternoon game drive to see the animals a little closer up. There are buffalo, giraffe and zebra in the park as well as rhino and lion, and an amazing wealth of bird life. 

Day 2Nairobi National Park, Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre & Carnivore restaurant

You will be picked in the morning and proceed to the Nairobi National Park for a game drive. Nairobi National Park was the first National Park to be gazette in Kenya in the year 1946 and it is the only park in the world close to the capital city. Animals found in the park include the lion, buffalo, rhino, giraffe, zebra, assorted antelopes, and gazelles. It has a variety of birds species, approximately 450 species have been recorded. You will later proceed to the Elephant orphanage to see how elephants are fed, play, and wallow in the mud. After viewing the baby elephants, head to the Mamba Village for lunch and later view the Nile crocodiles at the village. Thereafter, head to Giraffe Center to feed the giraffes and take selfies with them. Later in the evening drive to Carnivore Restaurant for dinner and head back to Ololo for a well deserved good nights rest.

Day 3Meru National Park - Elsa Kopje

After breakfast at Ololo Safari Lodge, you will transfer to Wilson Airport for a short-haul flight into Meru National Park. Although one of Kenya’s more famous national parks, Meru is slightly off the beaten path. This means that you are likely to enjoy its wilderness with few other visitors in sight. Look out for African icons like elephant, hippo, rhino, leopard, cheetah and lion. Enjoy refreshing sun downer drinks in a beautiful location, followed by a special candlelit dinner served in the bush.

Day 4Meru National Park - Elsah Kopje

On this day you can have a full day game drive, or a morning game drive, a leisurely afternoon and a guided walk around the area. Your accommodation for the next two nights is Elsa’s Kopje, an award-winning private lodge named after the famous lioness of Born Free fame. Set out on daily game drives to explore the diverse landscape and variety of wildlife in Meru. Elsa’s Kopje, named after the famous lioness, is set within a rocky hillside that is decorated with beautiful palm trees, baobabs and other lush flora. You will enjoy game drives and nature walks with expert guides and unwinding beside the lodge’s pool while marveling at the views over Meru. This is where conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness of Born Free fame.

Day 5-6Laikipia

After a leisurely breakfast, leave for Ol pejeta Conservancy. This is where Sudan, the last white Northern Rhino died. This is also where you will find Chimpanzees in Kenya. Feed the rhinos as you are taken through Ol pejeta’s history. Overnight at Jambo Mutara Camp.

Day 7Samburu

After an early breakfast, leave Ol pejeta and transferred to Samburu by road. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Elephant Bedroom. Relax and have lunch. Unwind and later on head out for an evening game drive. Overnight at Elephant Bedroom.

Day 8- 9Samburu National Reserve

On this day, you will have a relaxed day at the lodge. This luxury camp is situated next to Ewaso Nyiro river which gives it a very relaxed feeling. Elephants do come up to he camp's balcony and you will have a game view without leaving the camp. A visit to a Masai village will be organised in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Bedroom Camp.

Day 10Departure

After breakfast prepare to checkout, transfer to the air strip to catch your scheduled flight to Nairobi. You will be received by our guide who transfers you to the hotel or airport to catch your flight back home.
